There is no Feb. 1 deadline in case

Readers have been asking about a Feb. 1 deadline — that would be today — in the Casey Anthony case. She is charged with the first-degree murder of her daughter, Caylee.
In October, the Sentinel wrote that Judge Stan Strickland “ordered the defense team to turn over its witness list to prosecutors by Feb. 1. Prosecutors want to question the witnesses who support the defense’s claim that Anthony is innocent.”
But this deadline was rendered moot on the day Anthony pled guilty in her check-fraud case. The prosecution and the defense agreed to work out a new schedule of deadlines for the case, including a potential trial date. That schedule has not yet been made public.

OK, so here we sit on "pins and needles"....waiting for the dufense again. I hope this info will be turned over soon. How long does it to take? That's right, we have to wait for the X Mrs. Kronk to spew her venomous depo...and are we still waiting to see if Tim has to produce his COMPLETE list of volunteers?

Estee, Mark Nejame filed a Continuation of the defense's motion to require TES to turn over all of the searchers' info.... so again, we wait... but this time at the request of TES.

Re: Calendar of Events - Case(s) Against Casey
Fysty, during the 1/25 hearing, Judge Strickland agreed that the attorneys for both sides would meet after the hearing to discuss discovery..... they were also supposed to both give JS a realistic discovery schedule. He said he would then use one or the other, or come up with one of his own.
So that let JB and company off the hook AGAIN.... at least for a little while.
