In my opinion, the defense attorneys are always the ones talking to the media about this case in an effort to sway public opinion in Casey's favor. Of course, they fail miserably everytime. The court of public opinion is against them because innocent people report it to police when their child is missing. They don't party for a month, wait for their family to drag the information out of them, and then lie to the officers who are trying to help them locate the missing child.
