Missing Central Florida women get new attention with billboards

The case of missing Orlando woman Jennifer Kesse is getting new attention this weekend.

Billboards across Central Florida will be highlighting her case as part of Florida Missing Children's Day.

Kesse vanished from her home near the Mall at Millenia back in January of 2006 and hasn't been seen since.

Kesse wrote: “Let’s make this very clear, Caylee was murdered. She was never missing and should not ever be considered missing at any time during the entire ordeal. Caylee has never been the center of anything since she was killed. Everyone else in her family has, but the true victim — not.”

Well said. Mr. Kesse asks that Dr. Phil have on real families. I have to say that that is no longer a good idea now. Not after having the Anthonys on. They tend to invalidate real and worthy causes.

My prayers are for the Kesse's that Jennifer be found and brought home. May they continue to lean on the strength of God.

Unbelievable in this age of high tech forensics that someone could commit a crime like this and leave absolutely no trace of evidence. I pray that eventually there is a breakthru in this case and that Jennifer is found and her family has some sense of closure.

Orlando, Florida- Just behind the bustle of I-4 traffic and Orlando outlet malls, close to 170 members of law enforcement fanned out over a 1.7 by 1 mile area of undeveloped wilderness right off of International Drive on Friday.

Using horses, ATV's and sophisticated equipment, investigators spent from sun up to sunset searching for any clues into the 2006 disappearance of Jennifer Kesse.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police on Friday said searchers didn't discover anything of significance in an extensive search for Jennifer Kesse, who was reported missing nearly six years ago.

An investigator said a new lead prompted the search, which took place in a wooded area near 13000 S. International Drive, north of World Center Drive.

"We ask you to please not stop looking for Jennifer," said her father, Drew Kesse. "We wish they did find something."
