Is Taking the Stand KC's Only Hope?

Re: Is Taking the Stand KC's Only Hope?
I don't know, but I, personally, think KC will be committing suicide if she takes the stand. The jury is not going to like her and they won't believe anything she says.... by then she will have already been proven a pathological liar and any "explanation" she can give for her actions will only insult the jury.
Many people have been convicted on circumstantial evidence alone... and although I agree with AJ that some of the forensic evidence is thin, when you look at the big picture, it is very clear in this case who is guilty. I think the State has a very strong case against KC....
I just finished reading "We, the Jury" about the Scott Peterson trial, and I was struck by the similarities in the two cases. Jurors take their job very seriously and they use a lot of common sense when reaching their verdict.
Besides all that, I still have hopes that they have more incriminating evidence against KC that has yet to be released. Whether or not they do, trial will be so interesting and I know I, for one, will be glued to watching it.
And I do think this will go to trial because I don't believe that there will be any plea deal for a couple of reasons. Number one, I just don't believe that KC will ever admit to anything she has done... and two, even if KC would actually plead guilty to having murdered her daughter, I believe the MOST the State would offer is LWOP. (Although in Florida, a life sentence means 'for life', so it is the same as LWOP). And I think the State would only agree to that if KC were to tell exactly what happened on that fateful day. And I just can't see KC Anthony agreeing to any of that. I think it's possible she still believes she may walk away from this....
Of course, this is all just

Do you think she can convince Jose and Andrea that she should take the stand? If she does IMO it will be against their better judgement. And just where is Todd "Big Mac" and the other big guns on this case. They seem to be keeping a low profile. At least they have good sense by not making public appearances. Any one look at KC visitors list lately? I understand that Baez has cooled his jets and isn't visiting as frequently. Do you think that perhaps he's beginning to believe that she's a lost cause? I find it hard to believe that team KC is a pro bono team. Do you think we will ever know the truth about where the monies to support this team is coming from and exactly how much their work is worth?

if KC would want to take the stand, the defense cannot stop her. unless she is deemed incompetent to assist in her own defense, it is HER decision ultimately. counsel will strongly advise her against it, but they cannot stop her.
i dont think they even WANT her on the stand, they know with all her lies that have been recorded, there is no way that anyone on the jury will believe a word out of her mouth.. and with all her "im the victim here" attitude, i think the defense knows the jury will want to hang her. .
they are going to attack the "junk science" as they like to call it.. i believe their 1st order of business will be to try to have the air sample evidence from the body farm thrown out. then, onto reasonable doubt.. that is all they have, try to rebutt every piece of circumstantial evidence as SOD could have done it... and they will rest at that.. they have no explanation for KC's behavior because you cannot make reason out of the complete and utter unreasonableness that is KC anthony.
in the end, KC's own actions, inactions, statements, and failry tails will altogether be the pinhole that brings down the dam.

I think it would be a really bad idea for Casey to take the stand. On the other hand, it would be very interesting to watch.

Oh, don't get me wrong...... I would LOVE to see KC on the stand..... the State would rip her to shreds!!!!! But I don't think ultimately KC will want to testify because she won't want to answer the questions she KNOWS she will be asked.
