I can not even begin to state how disgusted I AM! I'm sure I'll have more to say later but right now, I can not even comprehend what Strickland is thinking!!!!

I'm sure that JAC is gonna make sure that everything is on the up&up....If not it will be Baez' neck in the noose...Maybe Mason will make an honest man out of him....We'll see...

I would be disgusted, but most the experts told us this would probably be the case, so I was prepared for it. Bozo must have gave the judge a satisfactory accounting of how the $275,000 was spent.

.. j4a.. he may not have..

this is the thing.. declaring KC indigent deals only with her CURRENT financial status.. if the money is gone (no matter what reason) he HAD to declare her indigent.. if he would have denied their right to investigatory costs, and she is convicted.. talk about an almost IMMEDIATE overturn of judgment. there was no choice, stan the man HAD to approve the motion for indigency.

even though he approved the motion, does not mean that bozo and cohorts are off the hook for misusing funds. . IMHO

Judge Strickland had no choice, and this guarantees this unfair bitch a "fair" trial. "Fair" only applies to this case when the defense is demanding something. So far, costs be damned...nothing about this freaking trial has followed any fair-ness guidlines.

I hope they aren't off the hook for misusing funds Randi. I kind of thought that her indigence only dealt with her current financial situation, but I was hoping that wasn't the case after the JAC and the Judge expressed their concerns about how much money the defense has received so far and how they've spent it.

It is frustrating Cali, but Judge Strickland has to give her as fair a trial as possible to eliminate the defense's chances of filing a successful appeal after the trial.

Sick as it is, Strickland probably had no choice. What's worse though is the Bozo didn't have to present his expense lists in open court like Strickland wanted him to. Baez and team won what they asked for, that it be done in-camera.

Must really have been something in there that would harm Casey's defense like they said.

Ahem, could it be that Baez really was retained on JUNE 17th and the financial records show it?

I still wish they would just move the bitch into general population! Done! There is nothing "fair" about any of this. Caylee is still dead. She STILL probably looked into mommy's eyes as mommy was killing her. IMAGINE what that poor precious girl must have been thinking! I hope to God that each and every one involved, in each and every aspect of doing ANYTHING for this crazy bitch, gets theirs in the end. I hope Caylee's face & those beautiful eyes...haunt their each and every waking (and sleeping) moment for the rest of their lives. This all just breaks my heart.

Now I need anger management Sad

Breaks my heart too, Fysty! Everytime I go out and see a little girl Caylee's age walking around so cute and innocent I think of Caylee. I've seen little girls 'being all dressed up' and carrying a purse and prissing about at the mall and I'm reminded of Caylee. Or little girls carrying dolls and treating them like they're real, or stuffed animals, so full of love! I think of Caylee and can't understand how anyone could smile in court with her dead and having been put in garbage bags! It's not just the murder! Awful as that is, it was that one time thing, but it's the aftermath of constant smiles and giggles and complete lack of giving a shit that the child is dead that goes on day after day with Casey (and her defense team) as if she's happy Caylee's dead that rips my heart to pieces > if that makes any sense.

Lotti...it makes PERFECT sense. Those are all things I have had going through my head since the hearing. It's amazing to me that the rest of them can act the way they do. OK, so KC is a cold hearted bitch that didn't want her child so she killed her but the defense team??? ALL of those people can NOT possible BELIEVE HER???!!! There is NO WAY IN HELL. THAT in itself, is a huge part of what breaks my heart. I just can't wrap my brain around it.

My hubby & I were talking about Tasha wanting to go to the park on her bike. It's 1 1/2 blocks away. I will NOT allow it. Period. NOT ALONE. She's 11. NOT WITH "friends", NO WAY, NO HOW, I just CAN'T. If there is NOT an adult that I KNOW, there is just no way I can do it. Not seeing all that I do, right here on this little web site of ours, each & every day. There are more & more cases every day. I refuse to have it happen to her, if I can help it. The statistics are horrible. I refuse to have her be one. I'd much rather be the overbearing Nana. She won't be that one in four, that gets molested. Not as long as there is a breath left in my body.

Good for you, Fysty! You keep it up! :)

My daughter was raised to have a 'wing-man' where ever she went. It's just not safe to be alone! She's grown now and she will still call me when she leaves work and is safely in her car! I love it! In general, someone knows where she is all the time and all her friends know if she doesn't show up to meet them to call me immediately! She went through a spell where she 'didn't like being checked up on'. I didn't weaken until finally she got over it and realized I was right! Now she actually loves feeling like someone has her back at all times and will communicate with each other.

There was this one time while she was going through her 'mood' of feeling like a baby and not wanting to be checked up on, I got this horrible feeling while she was at work that something bad was going to happen to her before she got in her car. Just a motherly intuition thing, and I drove to her work place and parked near her car to watch out for her. 3 guys were hanging on her car in the parking lot! As she approached the car she saw them and stopped before she got there. I saw her and I was already on it, and yelled for her, and she came over to my car instead. They saw her too and started to move away from her car and lean on one behind her car! I feel like they might have been waiting for her! We'll never know for sure, but it was weird that they'd move after just seeing her coming unless they knew her car! After she got in my car, one of the guys walked over to a shopping cart that had a balled up sheet in it that was a couple cars down from hers and pushed it away from the area! And me being me, thought they might have had plans to knock her out and put her in the basket and cover her with the sheet! It was very scary, but that's when she got over it because she said those guys had been watching her at work the day before! :)

She's lucky to have you. Tasha will one day realize that she's "safe" too & that I only worry because of her safety. Her mom didn't do that. We are very lucky that nothing has happened to her with all of the men her mom had going in & out of her life. Like I said, she's only 11. I try to stay aware of everything & every one around us, lol. Paranoid?? Maybe but in the long run, hell, call me anything, I don't care, lol.

It sure has been an exhausting day. All the news, all the poor little ones in the new. Maybe it's just been a long WEEK & that's why I'm feeling so frustrated & tired.

Lottie...you followed your instincts...good for you. Some people will talk themselves out of that "gut feeling" and later regret it. Something was nudging you to go to her workplace that day. The gang of three is frightening, not too likely one gal can fight off those odds.

Fysty, keep on doing what you do. Better to be safe than sorry, and Tasha will learn to be cautious from your protective stance. Some day she will grow up and be grateful that you act out of love and concern for her.
