Curious Questions about Casey’s Cash Flow
Posted on May 4th, 2010 by Valhall
There is a country and western song title from my youth that I think describes Casey’s adult life in toto, it was Freddy Fender’s Wasted Days and Wasted Nights. There are so many questions that may never be answered, and to me they are important questions that beg answering. For instance, where did Casey and Caylee spend their days while Casey wasn’t working and Cindy and George thought Caylee was being cared for by a nanny? If we were to be so silly as to believe anything Casey said or wrote, we would conclude the majority of that time was spent at the Anthony home. From Casey’s jailhouse prose she confesses she laid in bed all morning until her favorite soaps came on. But I have a bit of a problem with this.
If you tied all four Anthonys together and told them they had five minutes to collectively come up with one true statement or you were going to light their tails on fire they would all go out in a blaze of glory, so putting much stock in anything any one of them says is a bit of folly, but for the purpose of trying to figure if Casey stayed home all day, most days, George is our best bet. George didn’t think Casey was working. In fact, George first learned Casey was a liar about working back when she told them she worked at Sports Authority. After visiting the store, asking the manager if his daughter worked there, and being taken straight to the employee roster, George learned Casey had never worked there. George was reprimanded by Cindy for checking on Casey’s employment. To paraphrase, I believe she warned him that Casey was going to be pretty darned upset with him for checking up on her. The fear of Princess Poopie Pants’ and Queen Lie-teefah’s wrath shut him down for good.
Now, in his July 24, 2008 interview with OCSO, the reason George gave for checking on Casey’s employment at Sports Authority was actually because of one particular incident Casey claimed took place that didn’t quite sound right to George. During her non-employment at Sports Authority, Casey came home and told the hair-raising story of being held up at gunpoint in the store late one night by some nefarious burglar. She claimed, during that event, that he made off with $4000 or so and there was a police report filed on the whole thing. When George pushed Casey as to whether she had the responding officer’s card, or any other information she said she was fine and she would be okay. Now, when George was confronted about his visiting the Sports Authority in his August 2009 deposition, he was directly ask what incident led him to go verify her employment. He seemed to refuse to bring up the hold-up and instead said that he checked into it because he’d never seen her bring home a paycheck.

Wasted days and wasted nights is right on, what did that girl do all day long?
When I first read George's statement in regards to his Sports Authority investigation, my immediate reaction was.. what kind of father is this? That wouldn't go back to his home and put his foot down and demand answers from his daughter! Their enabling of Casey's lies and thievery led them to exactly where they are today. And they still continue.

I completely agree with you, Piper..... I have been so appalled at their level of enabling KC. And I particularly agree that that is what has led them to this place in time...... with a granddaughter murdered by the irresponsible and sociopathic daughter they enabled for years
