well... i never saw the video recreation of where caylees remains were scattered in the woods.

that will be a good way (on top of many others) to show the jury that body had been there a good while.

i also dont know if i like the idea of the prosecution presenting the duct tape as a murder weapon... i dont think that can be definitively proven, and it gives the defense a very specific way to prove reasonable doubt... hmmmm...

I don't know Randi. It looks like that's the way the prosecution is going to go. At a hearing in December, Jeff Ashton said maybe Caylee's "killer saw her eyes as she applied one piece, then two, then three so that no breath was possible."

Here is the video recreation that you missed Randi. It was from the August 7, 2009 doc dump.

Thanks for the video J4A.

Here's one I found that is a recreation, it gives me creepy chills.

I'm hoping there is still a conviction. Somebody shouldn't get away with murder just because they managed to hide the body good enough to where it took six months to find it which made it impossible for the medical examiner to determine how the victim was killed. There have been convictions without bodies, so they should be able to convict Casey even if the murder was by undetermined means. If I was on a jury and heard all the evidence, I would have a reasonable doubt about how Casey killed Caylee, but I wouldn't have any doubt that Casey killed Caylee.

I think that we still are going to see or hear some yet undisclosed indisputable evidence pointing to KC as the killer. I think that is why the defense is pushing to get the state to release their "gotchas" complete with startling shockingly stunning detail.
As far as cause of death, the tape with the heart sticker makes it a personalized send-off by KC. Even if the prosecution can't prove "how" Caylee died, the duct tape speaks volumes as to KC's "feelings toward her own helpless child. I wish that someone had saved one of those "missing" posters that the A's put up with that rare duct tape that George likely stole in Ohio. Maybe someone did, and turned it over to LE.
I hate the thought that someone would "sell" something in the way of evidence to the defense.
