Did Nostradamus Predict Casey Would Be Aquitted In 2010?

There is an article that I read over a year ago that claims Nostradamus predicted Casey Anthony would be acquitted in 2010. It often quotes "historian" Bernard Heubner. I didn't think much after reading it, but every so often I see it pop up on various blogs and forums.

Nostradamous went on to predict that “a monster” will confess to the crime, clearing Anthony of all charges.

After 18 months on Death Row, the real murderer - the "monster" - will be executed, murdered or commit suicide, the mysterious but surprisingly specific quatrain reveals.

“This is one of the strangest predictions Nostradamus made,” said historian Bernard Heubner, a well-known and respected interpreter of the writings of Nostradamus.

“But the passage is available for anyone to see and to decide what it means for themselves. As far as I’m concerned, the prediction is quite clear.”

According to Heubner, the quatrain reads:

“The mother’s name is blackened by a silver mask,

"The people cry for vengeance, but truth prevails.

"Two thousand and ten finds Antone free,

"The monster confesses and loses his soul in months of 8 and 10."

Heubner said: “You don’t have to be a scholar to see the parallels between the quatrain and the Anthony case.

“The silver mask is suggestive of the duct tape that was found wrapped around the victim’s skull. And the people crying for vengeance is something anyone can see nightly on Nancy Grace on TV or daily in newspapers.

“Nostradamus also predicted that the case will be resolved in 2010, and regardless of the outcome, that almost certainly will occur. Most tellingly, perhaps - the name 'Antone.'

"We don't know how Nostradamus would pronounce that, but it looks very much like 'Anthony' we all can agree.

Most of the predictions of Nostradamus are open to interpretation and I don't even think he wrote the passage quoted in the article. The passages where he predicted 9/11 were proven to be fake and I believe this one involving the Anthony case is also fake. I did Google searches for the passage and portions of the passage and the only results that came up were the article itself from yourworldreport.com and sites discussing the Anthony case. I searched Nostradamus.org for the passage and nothing came up.

I also did a Google search for Bernard Heubner and most the results were also from yourworldreport and sites discussing the Anthony case. There were also a couple results that showed Heubner discussing alleged Nostradamus predictions in Weekly World News articles. If you have ever glanced at the Weekly World News when you are in line at the supermarket, it makes the National Enquirer look like the Wall Street Journal.

If it somehow turns out that this isn't fake, I will go on record saying Nostradamus totally missed the boat on this prediction for the following reasons:

• Most of us agree that there is a 99.9% chance that Casey killed Casey.
• There is very little chance of this case being resolved in 2010 short of the state accepting a plea for LWOP, and that certainly wouldn't set Casey free.
• In the very unlikely event that somebody else killed Caylee, it is even more unlikely that they will confess.

I could be wrong about a confession though. The tabloid writer in me has me thinking that Cindy might order George to confess just to set her precious KC free.

Antone is Spanish for Anthony, but not as a surname.

Therefore, "Nostradamus's prediction" =


"Two thousand and ten finds Antone free,

Anthony L is still free in 2010

"The monster confesses and loses his soul in months of 8 and 10."

Anthony L confesses in August and then again in October.

I don't know about this prediction by Nastradamus, but the one you made about Cindy telling George to cofess to set Casey free sounds very plausible!

Nostradamus or not....I wouldn't put it past Cindy to want George to take the rap for her darling Casey.

It might be fun to look at a Nostradamus prediction that may be about this case and try to figure out what it means if Nostradamus had actually written the passage quoted in the article. It appears to be a hoax that was written after the Anthony case became public.

I did more digging and found out that the article's author, Derek Clontz, used to be a writer for the Weekly World News. I'm definitely not surprised.

Cindy ordering George to confess is much more likely than this being a legitimate prediction by Nostradamus.

I have a prediction I would like to make:

Roy Kronk and Jesse Grund will have to make room under the bus for new scapegoats before all is said and done.
