I agree with you all that Casey doesn't deserve any sympathy for her fall. I don't sympathize with her. I just don't choose to laugh about it because it wasn't something she actually did to herself.

Someone asked, if Casey's hands were cuffed in front of her why she didn't use them to break her fall......she can't raise them up that far because her wrist shackles are connected to her ankle shackles by another chain.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A review released Thursday of what happened when Casey Anthony fell while going to court this week found no violation of any procedures.

Surveillance video showed Casey falling face-first, as she walked into an elevator on Tuesday. Investigators said her shackles got caught in the elevator door.

Casey was treated for minor injuries, including a busted lip, chipped tooth and a bruised knee.

In a part of the review of the incident, Casey wrote a statement about what happened: "Both officers helped me up, one calling for medical help, and the other assisting me in stopping the bleeding."

ORLANDO, Fla. -- After an investigation into the courthouse fall that injured Casey Anthony on Tuesday, internal affairs has concluded that there was no policy or procedural violation involved in the fall.

Anthony suffered a broken tooth, a bruised knee and a busted lip after she fell in an elevator while on her way to a hearing in her murder case.

Anthony provided a statement on Wednesday that said she was being escorted from the 19th to the 23rd floor via an elevator when, while stepping into the elevator, the chains of her leg shackles became wedged in the door shaft and she fell forward.

Anthony told investigators that the officers present helped her get up and rendered aid.

An inquiry into Casey Anthony's fall at the courthouse was ruled accidental.

Casey Anthony's fall in an elevator at the Orange County Courthouse earlier this week was ruled accidental, according to new information released this afternoon.

She chipped her front tooth, busted her lip and bruised her knee when she fell face first into an elevator while being transported to a court hearing.

Anthony was later transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Orange County Jail performed an inquiry into Anthony's fall and found that her leg shackles became tangled in the elevator jamb which caused her to fall forward. She was also shackled at the waist and wasn't able to break her fall.

The inquiry found that the corrections officer escorting Anthony was in compliance with the jail's escort/transport policy, according to the report.

"While I do not recommend any changes to the levels or types of restraints required per an inmate's classification/security threat levels, I do recommend policy and practice be amended to require officers to maintain a grasp of an Inmate's arm or waist chains when they are being escorted and are secured in both leg irons and handcuffs/waist chains," the report said.

Hah..."Inmate" Casey must surely miss her previous job classification of "Intimate".

Let me cry into this tissue for "it". Is that what "it" wants? For us to feel sorry for "it"? I wouldnt be suprised if "it" tripped on purpose.
I apologize for being so angry, I promise to post better things than my sarcastic hatred towards these "things". Its just..Ive had and "it" as my parent growing up, worked my tail off supporting myself and 3 of my siblings by myself. And now that Im ready to have my own family I was told that Im not able to have any of my own. So I must wait to adopt...but , although I have a clean and wonderful record, its taking mee ages to be able to adopt (backround checks etc). But its ok that these things can pop out a child anytime they want and then dispose of them like sour milk.

psmith ~ no need to apologize. The ability of some unfit mothers to birth "disposable babies" makes many of us on this site angry. Your situation is so damn unfair, and I wish you didn't have to wait so long to be rewarded with a baby that will call you "mommy". I wish that more of these mothers who produce unwanted babies could be convinced to just relinquish them at birth.

the way i look at it, the hand of the baby that she killed will play a HUGE roll in her misfortune both now and in the future.

i am one to firmly believe in KARMA, and inmate anthony has a lot worse coming to her IMHO.
