Kaine wasn't even at the hearing........so why did Terri have to be there?

To make sure her wishes were heard and to find out first hand the outcome....When I divorced #1 he was a "no show"...He had to work!!!! oh, sure...$$$$ before a relationship...If he had just once said I was making a mistake I would have called off the whole thing...

Right on, Estee. I read an article this afternoon that stated neither Kaine or Terri were required to attend. Kaine decided against attending because it may be emotional. And I can only imagine it would have been for him as well as Terri if he'd have been there. What a mess.......but the question still remains...

Kyron Horman's mother, Desiree Young, had a harsh message today for his stepmother, saying Terri Moulton Horman risks going to jail if she doesn't tell investigators everything she knows.

"Terri, I feel you are at a crossroads in your life," Young said at a news conference in Beaverton. "Police will not stop until they find Kyron. You will go to jail and whoever has been helping you will either have to talk or they will go to jail."

"I believe you will make the right choice to bring Kyron home," she said.

Desiree made it clear before she read her statement to Terri that LE was not aware of what she was about to say to Terri and they had not reviewed her prepared statement.

What's up with Dez saying "if terri doesn't do the right thing she will go to jail"....Dez thinks Terri is guilty so she's going to jail no matter what, right? Is coming clean with what Dez thinks Terri knows going to keep her out of jail? NUTS! Dez is so phoney, if she could get any phonier I don't know how.

What has Desiree been told to make her so certain that Terri has stashed Kyron? In other cases, LE doesn't give a parent all of their information during an investigation. I remember when Somer Thompson's mom was being interviewed before the suspect was announced, she stated they hadn't told her anything. If LE has convinced her Kyron has been stashed are they setting them up for false hopes if this is not the case? This is one of the strangest cases. As much as I want to see Kyron come home alive, I just don't see him being stashed anywhere. How many people would involve themselves to that extent? It's just highly unlikely, IMO.

Another forum I was reading over had someone who swore the police tell the families everything. This person claimed to be in law enforcement. They were stating LE would tell the family everything if they knew they were not involved.

I stated it didn't make sense to tell the family everything because they could screw up the investigation if they went public or sought revenge or anything. It just made them angry at me and others supported their statements by saying I was "crazy" and such because I challenged someone who claimed to be LE.

Do any of you think LE would tell the family the details of all the evidence and suspicions without a trial, or even an arrest?

No. I've heard of many cases where the family was kept in the dark on the details. I've even heard of autopsy results being withheld from family members in at least one case where an arrest hadn't been made.
