I saw this coming from Dad's last visit with Tommy, when he told him he wasn't paying mom's probation fees, as she was going to go to jail, and he didn't see any reason to pay the fees. Stupid ppl raising stupid kids.

i am not sure that it is "smart" to avoid talking when your child is missing.... seems that is only the case for the guilty ones.

truth is, that misty was a bit on the inconsistant side in the beginning, enough to house suspicion, and she is in jail now because she sold drugs. if she would have kept her little nose clean, she would not be in jail... i am hard pressed to be sympathetic to a drug dealer, honestly.

i know it has been argued that she was "set up" to sell drugs.... well that is fine, however, i dont care who OFFERS me to sell pills, i am not going to bite-- because i am not a criminal, and obviously the lot of them are.

dont sell drugs = dont go to jail
sell drugs = go to jail

I'll stand with you on that one AJ...It's too bad she couldn't have risen above her parents and had more expectations out of life...I'm sure if someone had asked her a year or so back where she expected to be at this time of her life she would not have answered married, divorced, jailed...It probably would have been married and living comfortably with the love of my life...Granted the drug $$ would have bought her the comfort she wanted but being a user she negated that aspect...Intelligent she's not...nor is she that street wise...Unfortunately she put herself in the position she's in, lets just hope that fortunately it may have just saved her life...

Drugs ruin lives!!! It is not always the way a kid is raised, some kids have a very good life, good parents, and they still go down that path of drugs. When the parents do drugs, have nothing to offer their kids, don't insist they stay in school, what can you expect from the kids?

Then, what about the next generation? When kids of druggies have kids themselves, someone has to step in and take over for the little ones to ever have a chance.

In the past 2 years, living through these pages, and others, I have determined Caylee and Haleigh are exactly where they belong, in the arms of God. With KC and CA, I can't imagine how Caylee would have turned out. With Ronald, Crystal, her hubby/step brother, and Misty, would Haleigh have had a chance in life? There was no one in either family that could have stepped up and taken over raising her like she deserved.

Of course, both of them were taken from 'us' as babies, and we see them as the innocents they were, so I hope the persons who took them get what they deserve. In Caylee's case, we have the perp, but I doubt we ever find out who took Haleigh, but at least part of her family will be punished, not for Haleigh, but for their life style.
