10 Questions for Nancy Grace

Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010

~Snipped and BBM~

What will the outcome of the Casey Anthony case be? —Emilie Gochnauer, East Petersburg, Pa.

I think she'll be convicted for the murder of her little girl. But the appeals process is so long that she'll languish behind bars, probably get a website, write a book and have a TV movie made in the meantime.

I don't exactly understand this comment by Nancy. Because, as I understand it, a convicted person cannot profit from their crime. If she is convicted of murder, it doesn't matter how long the appeals process takes, she can't make money by writing a book, etc.

She can do everything NG mentioned, but she can't make any money from it.... maybe that is what she meant.

She probably threw "write a book" in there as another plug for her new book........

I don't see how KC could make a dime when if convicted.....

Jeffrey McDonald hired the guy to write his book, you know the one that was going to be published after they proved he was not guilty. However, the author was convinced he did kill his family. Who got the money for that book? THE AUTHOR, that's who. Jeffrey didn't get any money for the book or the movie. KC is not smart enough to write a book herself, but someone else could do it. Then the movie could be made off that book.

Let's start a new thread and and cast all the players for the movie. I want to cast GA with the white haired guy that thinks he is so gorgeous. He was on Dancing With The Stars and he hosts one of the old Family Feud shows on the Game Show Network. I can't remember his name right now.

I understand that someone ELSE can write a book about KC's story... but my point is that KC cannot profit....

The actor's name is John O'Hurley...... and he IS gorgeous... but George definitely is not. The only thing they have in common is the color of their hair.

Nancy Grace explains why she has moved on from Casey Anthony case

posted by halboedeker on September, 1 2010 3:33 PM

So what is Nancy Grace’s approach to the Casey Anthony case these days?

“It was a big part of the show,” she told reporters this afternoon in a conference call. “I think it will be a big part of the show when it goes to trial.”

Anthony, who is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter Caylee, will go on trial in May. The Anthony case used to be a regular feature on Grace’s HLN show, which airs at 8 nightly.

I only wish I could feel so convinced she will get convicted. I truly fear the OJ phenomena here........

Nancy has milked this case for all she could squeeze out of it. Her last drop will come when Casey is convicted.

The problem with the DP is all the taxpayer money that will be wasted on appeals. I almost hope that they just eliminate any more appeals and give her LWOP. Too bad she will have to be kept isolated from the other prisoners though. I would love to see jail justice solve the issue.

Dammit, Cindy should have squeezed harder and longer.

Cali, even if KC gets LWOP rather than the DP, there is no doubt she will still appeal her conviction. And since she is indigent (and at that point will be convicted of the murder, so she can never profit from it, therefore will have no means to ever have any money), the State of Florida taxpayers will still foot the bill. Jeezum pete... that was a REALLY long sentence! I hope it made sense!

So either way, KC will cost the State of Florida a bundle. And since I am moving back to Florida very soon, I guess I will be one of those lucky taxpayers.

You are right.... Cindy SHOULD have squeezed harder and longer. Would have saved us all a passel of money and trouble.
