Guests can listen and view the chat, but they can't post in the chat. You have to register to be able to participate in the chat. You can register with any name that hasn't been taken yet.

Snaz-LOL, I didn't see the Register part before. That's OK. It didn't bother me, it's just ticking me off that it's almost over and I can't figure the stoooopid thing out.

You are welcome. Once you register, your login works for every show on Blog Talk Radio.

Snaz, thank you! I think it is an excellent idea.

I had difficulty registering for Live Chat. I e-mailed Jan Barrett (BNN) and she sent me the baby step instructions I requested. Wow! It was so simple and easy following her instructions! A piece of cake for sure!

The instructions Jan e-mailed me were for my specific problem. Jan will probably want to fine tune the instructions so anybody can follow them with ease and register for Live Chat. I am going to e-mail Jan as soon as I finish this comment to you. Hopefully, Jan will be able to get back to me within a day. Monday's are busy days for them.

As soon as I get the fine tuned instructions, I will gladly post them on this thread. I think many of your interested members will find the instructions helpful.

Okay, Snaz . . . . as they say, "the check is in the mail"! I e-mailed Jan and whenever I hear back from her, I'll post the instructions here!

If anyone is interested in joining Live Chat, BNN- Simon Barrett's Radio Show, which is every Sunday at 3 p.m. CDT, you have to register first before you can log in. The show is usually 1 1/2 hours and sometimes 2 hours.

I joined Live Chat 3 weeks ago. I love it! It is a lot of fun! When it gets real active, I do get left in the dust! LOL

Julie joined Live Chat Sunday and we got to chat! Really neat!

Jan extends an invitation to all of you to join Live Chat on Simon's Radio Show which is every Sunday and she hopes you find the Radio Show informative!

Jan so kindly provided me with the following instructions regarding Live Chat so I could post them on this thread:

1. Go to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/

2. Look in the top right hand corner of the page and you will see the words "sign in" and right next to it, you will see the word "register". Click on the word "register"

3. Fill out the register form. You will need your username (you can use the name you use on BNN or if you want to use a different name it is ok). Set your password and fill in the rest.

4. Be sure you click where you agree to their user agreement

5. An email should be sent to you to confirm your registration.

Once it has been confirmed you should be good to go for Sunday. All you would have to do is go to Simon's article announcing the program (which can be found at www.bloggernews.net ) and click where Simon has direct link (towards the bottom of the article) posted in his article. That should take you to Simon's page. Once the show starts you should automatically hear it without having to do anything. Once he gets the chat room opened though (which is about 2:45 pm), all you would have to do is scroll down and you should see the chat and since you will be registered you should be able to join in the chat with no problems.

If you have any problems let me know. Oh and btw... you can register right now if you want to. That way all you would have to do would be to go to the article and click on his direct link. It will take you right to the page to listen and to the chatroom too.

As 2010 creeps toward the end of the year I decided that it was time to once more bring the regular gang together and take a look back at the year, and a look forward to what the future might hold.

We will be talking about many subjects, but here are a few topics to whet your appetite.

Haleigh Cummings, has this now moved into the realm of ‘Cold Case? It certainly seems that way. The PCSO can hardly be blamed, they doggedly worked this case but to date there has been no evidence found about what actually happened to Haleigh Cummings. Of course it can be argued that they have achieved justice, father Ronald Cummings and Babysitter/wife/ex wife Misty Croslin face a long time behind bars on unrelated drug charges. As does Misty’s brother Tommy Croslin and a couple of others.
