Because that doesn't serve her agenda......

Apparently these people don't know the Cindy Anthony we know.

Charity Organization Bombarded by Uncharitable People

This has to be one of the saddest examples of human judgment that I have witnessed in recent months. A well intentioned grandmother, trying to do the right thing and donate useful items for the drive, decided she may be able to help promote the clothing drive, and placed a call to her local news station about her participation. What she had hoped would result in an outpouring of sympathy for those children in need, turned into a backlash of hatred, and businesses withdrawing from participation in the clothing drive left and right.

Now, any one of us can go to our kids or grand-kids room, pick out clothes they are no longer using, box them up and donate them to a charity of our choice, no questions asked. Unfortunately, this is not the case for the grandmother of a child who died tragically, who wanted at least one good thing to come from past horrible events. I am referring to the out of control controversy surrounding the donation of “Caylee’s shoes” to charity.

ORLANDO -- A small Central Florida charity is distancing itself from George and Cindy Anthony.

The charity got a lot of negative attention after the Anthonys announced they would be donating Caylee's shoes to the charity's shoe drive.

In a matter of just a few minutes George and Cindy Anthony drove up to a pharmacy off Narcoosee Road in Orlando and dropped off shoes to Operation Barefoot.

It's an annual shoe drive put on by the Children of Love Foundation.

Cindy Anthony heard about the event and told reporters she would be attending it and donating some of her granddaughter Caylee's shoes.

George and Cindy Anthony stopped by a shoe drive today and made a donation – but not the one that made headlines earlier this week.

“According to the director of this nonprofit, the Anthonys dropped off six pairs of shoes and a bag socks,” WESH-Ch. 2’s Jeff Lennox reported tonight. “At first it was believed those shoes were Caylee Anthony’s, but the director actually says these shoes were brand new.”

I don't believe Cindy Anthony EVER intended to donate Caylee's shoes... she only SAID they would be Caylee's for the sympathy factor. That's all.

I still can't figure out why she felt she needed to alert the media to "her attendance".......

They said the shoes they donated were brand new shoes!! Where did they get the money to buy these shoes. Then another article said they were Cindy and George's shoes??? I thought the shoes were for orphans, can they wear adult shoes??? I don't understand any of this.

That whole famdamily is nutzo, Mama...So, who cares whose shoes they were...Let them spend our hard earned tax $$ for shoes...at least it wasn't crab puffs...The shoes no matter what size (even eva's) will go to a good cause...I certainly hope whateva publicity was brought to the organization didn't hamper the shoe drive...
