George and Cindy Anthony have new lawyers

George and Cindy Anthony have a new pair of lawyers representing them in their daughter's case, according to court documents filed late today.

Orlando attorneys Mark Lippman and Jennifer Craddock, both with the Lippman Law Offices on South Orange Avenue, filed notices of appearance in the Casey Anthony case file late today.

"The paper is as it says," Craddock said during a brief phone conversation today. "We are representing them and we have no further comment other than that."

The news comes a little more than a week after the Anthony's former attorney, Brad Conway, announced on national TV that he was no longer representing them after he was caught up in a legal dispute between Casey Anthony's defense team and Texas EquuSearch.

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Mark Lippman, of Lippman Law Offices, confirmed with FOX 35 that his firm will represent George and Cindy Anthony in legal affairs, as it relates to the murder trial of their daughter, Casey.

The firm will pick up where Brad Conway left off before announcing his resignation last week.

"This is a continuation of our representation of them from their mortgage foreclosure case as we have never stopped representing them," Lippman wrote in an statement sent to FOX 35. "We have only expanded our role based on Mr. Conway resigning from the case."

Casey Anthony’s Parents Hire New Attorneys

Lippman told WFTV on Thursday that he'll be more conservative in how he represents them. Lippman says he will not be doing a lot of national television interviews.

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer says the biggest challenge for both attorneys is controlling their clients.

"They must get their clients under control. They must get their clients to listen to their advice and as we have seen thus far, there hasn't been a lawyer that's been successful in doing that," Sheaffer said.

Lippman says he represented the Anthonys during their recent home foreclosure case.

Sheaffer says regardless of whom the Anthonys have represent them, they are still witnesses in their daughters case and will testify when it goes to trial next May.

So, how many announcements about this are they gonna make...It would seem to me that more than one is redundant...

Exactly Estee, and they keep repeating what they have already said. My question is 'Are they going to keep CA & GA out of the media'? Will he keep them off the TV shows, and why didn't he keep them out of the Duckett tribute or remembrance over the week-end. Why didn't he keep CA from announcing she is giving Caylee's shoes away and try to impose herself in the shoe drive.

He needs to be sending updates to CA, we have already heard all this.

Mama..I think it is impossible for them to "baby sit" and "hold their hands" 24/7...What's that old saying, you can lead a horse to water, but.....also one can give all the advice in the world to a person, but it's up to them to take it...G&C probably don't give their agenda to their attorneys, so they don't know where they will insert themselves....At least G&C didn't announce in advance that they were gonna go to Trenton's Vigil...At least I don't think they did...

Well, we may have to give Lippman credit for keeping Cindy and George from the hearing today. I think Cindy may have missed only one other hearing out of ALL the hearings that have been held in this case.

I guess we probably should give credit where credit is due..... assuming it is due.....
