ORLANDO, Fla. -- A witness told authorities that while Casey Anthony was out of jail on bond, her father unsuccessfully tried to find out from her what happened to her missing 2-year-old daughter.

Prosecution documents released Tuesday include a 2009 audio interview of a Texas woman who helped search for Anthony's daughter, Caylee.

Lisa Hoffman said she heard from other people who were in the home that George Anthony went into his daughter's bedroom, before Caylee's body was found, demanding to know what happened to her.

Hoffman said she was told that he grew frustrated when he didn't get answers.

The new details emerged as the state released pictures and audio interviews, while Anthony's defense team questioned lab evidence.

The state attorney's office released a CD filled with audio interviews and pictures. Some of the pictures show Anthony with her daughter, Caylee, while others show a search site and the trunk of Anthony's car.

Some of the images show the carpet liner inside the trunk of Anthony's car, including a stain that an FBI agent said appeared to be an outline of a child in the fetal position. An FBI lab supervisor, however, said the agency cannot speculate what the stain may look like and the agent's testimony will not be heard at trial.

Casey Evidence Raises Questions About Made-Up Info

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Evidence released Tuesday in the case against Casey Anthony raises new questions about whether a former EquuSearch volunteer made up evidence while working for Casey's defense team.

The information came out in interviews that were released to WFTV. Now, the sheriff's office is investigating.

One EquuSearch volunteer believes another made up records indicating he searched and cleared an entire area four months before Caylee was found there, but he says he couldn't because it was knee-deep under water.

Casey Anthony's defense team really wants to show her daughter Caylee's body was not there in the woods until after Casey was locked up without bond in October 2008 to prove someone else put Caylee's body there.

Texas EquuSearch volunteer Joe Jordan says, a month before that, he brought a group to search for Caylee in the same area, but he could only get in about ten feet because, beyond that, it was under water.

"That was the farthest we went, which was, I want to say, five to ten feet in," Jordan told investigators (hear interview). "We stayed next to the road, like right in the front, and once we got in there it was too much. Because the water, the water was too much … it was like knee deep at that point. When you first stepped in it, it was knee deep."

Casey Anthony's ex-boyfriend offered $1,500 for pictures, emails say
A woman helped negotiate a contract with ex-boyfriend Ricardo Morales and tabloid publisher America Media for pictures showing Caylee and Casey, records released Tuesday show.

A former Casey Anthony boyfriend tried to profit from 2-year-old Caylee Marie's disappearance by selling photos of the child and her mother to a tabloid soon after the case started making international headlines in 2008.

Discovery documents released Tuesday include a series of emails between Casey Anthony friend Ricardo Morales and a media organization representative in August 2008 negotiating terms for Morales' story and photos of Casey and Caylee he provided.

At one point, Morales writes, "This contract states I will only get paid if the article is published. I don't want to give up my rights to this story and potentially not get paid a dime…I don't mean to trouble you Sharon but these are some pretty big issues that need to be resolved before I agree to this contract."

The media contact, identified in the emails as Sharon Keeble, writes back assuring Morales that he would be paid $1,500 for his cooperation.

Texas Equusearch volunteers recall tensions at Anthony home

“Casey Anthony never said the word Caylee one time.”

The speaker is Texas EquuSearch founder Tim Miller, and he was recalling the four days he spent in the Anthony home two years ago.

WESH-Ch. 2 played the recording tonight — part of new documents released in the case – and reporter Bob Kealing explained tensions in the Anthony house when Caylee was missing. The material might not be new, but it was dramatic to hear the volunteers’ voices.

I wonder if George eventually got his answers which caused him to join Cindy in cover up mode.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Texas Equusearch volunteers said tension rose inside the Anthony home -- with an almost physical confrontation between Casey and George Anthony and Cindy Anthony kicking the volunteers out of her home -- during the height of the search for 2-year-old Caylee in 2008.

In newly released interviews this week, the Equusearch volunteers described a volatile showdown inside the Anthony home in Orlando just as George Anthony appeared close to getting his daughter to mark a spot where they should look. At least two of the volunteers said the man physically confronted Casey in their home while she was out of jail on bond.

“He went in there, grabbed a hold of her and they had it out,” volunteer Lisa Hoffman said. “(He) came out and said, 'The answer to where the baby is is in that bedroom, and the (expletive) won't talk.'"

Richard Crique works in a mortuary. He is one of the searchers that spent days looking for Caylee. He told investigators about one of the first times he searched near the area where Caylee's remains were found.

"It just hit me. I got a whiff of something that didn't belong there," said Crique. But he told detectives that water kept him and other volunteers = from doing a thorough search. "Describe the water," said one of the investigators."It was clear. About knee deep," said Crique.

"What you're saying is you searched there 40 or 50 days and there was water every time you were there?" asked one of the investigators. "Yes," Crique responded. "I circled it of key interest and said we needed to go back and research it."

Water levels have been a point of contention between Casey Anthony's defense team and Equusearch's attorney who does not want to turn over the names of thousand of volunteers who helped look for Caylee. Equusearch's attorney did turn over the names of about two dozen volunteers who they say searched the area near where Caylee's remains were found on Suburban Drive.
