Well, at least he will be in prison while they continue to look for these boys. I wish they would be found safe and sound, but I think that is almost impossible.

John Skelton, of Morenci — like Phillips — has been charged with unlawful imprisonment in connection with the disappearance of his three young sons.
Skelton was sentenced Thursday in Lenawee Circuit Court to 10 to 15 years in prison.

Missing boys' mom still hopeful they will return home alive

MORENCI, Mich. — One year ago, just before the Thanksgiving holiday, the mother of Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton said they were talking about going to Ford Field in Detroit to watch the Hudson Tigers play for the state football championship.
The boys never got to go to the game.
The three Skelton brothers have been missing since Thanksgiving, when their father failed to return them to their mother, Tanya Zuvers, after a scheduled visitation.
They were last seen with their father, John Skelton, who was sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison after pleading no contest to unlawfully imprisoning his sons. He claims he gave them to an underground organization to prevent Zuvers from having custody. The two were estranged at the time and have since been divorced.

Morenci keeps hopes alive

Morenci — Tanya Zuvers refuses to speak of her three missing sons in the past tense.
In the year since the Thanksgiving disappearance of Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton, hundreds of volunteers launched a futile search of this Michigan-Ohio border town and its vast surrounding farms, woods and waters.
Ten months later, their father, John Skelton, was sentenced to 10-15 years in prison after pleading no contest to unlawful imprisonment and steadfastly refusing to tell of their whereabouts.
Skelton said he gave his sons to a secret child-protection group, dreamed of them dead and did Internet research about neck-breaking. Because of those statements, Morenci Police Chief Larry Weeks switched his missing-person search to a homicide investigation.

MORENCI, Mich. (WXYZ) - It was one year ago on Thanksgiving-eve that Tanya Zuvers last saw her sons Alexander, Tanner and Andrew alive. She hugged and kissed them as she dropped the boys off at their grandmother’s house.
Two days later her life changed forever.
“I said I love you and I said I’ll see you on Friday,” Tanya said.
It was a reunion that still hasn’t happened.

Morenci police seek tips on 3 missing brothers at 1-year anniversary
1:42 AM, Nov. 26, 2011
Detroit Free Press - Detroit, MI
Morenci police canvassed an intersection Friday, hoping to get new tips about three missing brothers who disappeared a year ago and to give information about the boys.
Police Chief Larry Weeks said officers made contact with about 129 vehicles early in the morning at the intersection of U.S.-127 and Morenci Road -- an area police believe the boys' father, John Skelton, was driving during the same hours a year earlier.

Vigilance urged on anniversary of Skelton boys’ disappearance

MORENCI, Mich. — One year ago, the search for the missing Skelton boys was just starting in Morenci. On Sunday afternoon, Andrew, Alexander and Tanner’s family and friends and scores of community members gathered to remind everyone to keep looking.
The event in the Morenci High School gym was a look back at the past year, a call to people to remain vigilant in the hope that the boys can be returned home and a public thank-you from the boys’ family to the community. Relatives and friends played roles in the hour-long program, which featured the reading of a poem written by one of the boys’ cousins and a song sung by a family friend. People were also directed to a new website, skeltonbrothers.org, to learn more about the search for the boys. T-shirts, car magnets and window clings were sold at cost to try to raise awareness and maybe find someone who has information about the boys.
“If you keep the word out, it’s just going to take the right person to see it, and that’s what it’s all about,” family friend Kathye Herrera said after the event.

Tanner, Alexander and Andrew Skelton have been missing since 11-26-10.
I check for updates ever so often but no news of them being found.
As the snow melts once again and spring emerges, I pray that some one will discover these three precious boys. It's past time to bring them home.
