This week marks one year since Colorado City teenager Hailey Dunn was reported missing and there have been no new leads in the case and no sign of the girl.

Dunn was reported missing on Dec. 28 by her mother, Billie Jean Dunn, after being last seen on Dec. 27 by her mother's former boyfriend, Shawn Adkins. Adkins told police the teenager was going to a friend's home to spend the night, but never arrived.

It’s been an exhausting year for the west Texas town of Colorado City, every time they thought they were closer to finding Hailey Dunn, anxiety to find this teenage girl grew and investigators and searchers found themselves with more questions than answers.

A year ago this week.

It has been a year since 13-year-old Hailey Dunn went missing from Colorado City and Tuesday the dedicated volunteers who have been diligently searching for her did something a little different to commemorate the anniversary of her disappearance.

They walked what is believed to be the same path she walked before she vanished.

Hailey Darlene Dunn, the sparkly-eyed cheerleader who should have been enjoying her ninth-grade year at Colorado High School, was last seen walking the blocks around her home on Chestnut Street. The last reported sighting of the teen was at 3:15 p.m. by Shawn Adkins, boyfriend of Hailey’s mother Billie Jean. Adkins is the sole person of interest identified by police.

On Dec. 28, 2010, 13-year-old Colorado City resident Hailey Dunn was reported missing by her mother, Billie Jean Dunn. The day before, according to her mother, she was to have walked to her father's home, just a few blocks away, and then gone to a friend's house to spend the night.

She never reached either place.

Another Somber Anniversary In Hailey Dunn Case – The Affidavits

ABILENE, Texas -- Wednesday marks another somber anniversary in the case of missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn.

Hailey Dunn was reported missing just after Christmas in 2010.

Wednesday marks the day exactly one year after KTXS exclusively obtained affidavits about the case through the Freedom of Information Act. The affidavits contained law enforcement statements that were used to justify search warrants to obtain more information.

The affidavits made it clear that investigators were looking at Hailey's mother, Billie Dunn, and her live-in boyfriend, Shawn Adkins, in the teen's disappearance.

COLORADO CITY, Texas -- The man who was synonymous with the search for missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn is leaving his post.

Pete Kampfer, Colorado City's City Manager has accepted a position in a New Mexico town as its city manager.

He'll be going to Raton, New Mexico a town of about $7,000.

I think Tricia, the Host, did a great job of interviewing Billie Jean Dunn. At least Dunn did not hang up the phone!

If you have followed the Hailey Dunn case and have seen Billie Jean Dunn's TV interviews and Blog Talk Radio interviews, then you listen to this interview and you decide if Dunn is putting a new spin on some things.

There is one thing that bothers me and that is why would Billie Jean Dunn want to live with a man who threatened to kill her at one time? Remember Billie Jean Dunn's 911 calls in that regard?

That was a good show and Tricia did do a fine job-handled Billie with kid gloves to get more info out of her. Hopefully, Billie will return, but even better than that, Hailey will be found.

Sherry, yes Tricia had to handle Billie Jean with kid gloves.

I was hoping nothing would set Dunn off and she would hang up.

I hope this is the year that Hailey will be found. I keep thinking Hailey could be an an old abandoned well.

Also, that part of Texas had a lot of oil/gas activity over the years. Maybe one of those old sites is a possibility.

Another search for missing Colorado City Teen Hailey Dunn occurred on Saturday afternoon.

One band of searchers spent five hours searching around the South Mountain and Comanche Trail areas of Big Spring.

FBI to investigate human remains found near Big Spring airport

BIG SPRING, TX (KCBD) -
Authorities in Big Spring have confirmed that human remains were found in a pasture Tuesday near the McMahon Wrinkle Airpark.

Sgt. Tony Everett said they received a call around 2:30 p.m. that workers near the 2500 block of Apron Drive found the remains.
