Easy Cake Even Eva Can Make

Eva, this is called a "Dump Cake" because you dump everything in the pan together and bake:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 x2 inch pan.

Dump a 20 oz. can crushed pineapple Spread evenly.
Dump a 21 oz. can cherry pie filling and spread evenly over pineapple.
Dump dry cake mix evenly over cherry layer.
Sprinkle 1 cup chopped pecans evenly over cake mix.
Place 1/2 cup (1 stick) oleo cut in thin slices over the pecan pieces.
Bake @ 350 degrees for about 50 minutes. WATCH THE CLOCK. DO NOT BURN

Serve warm or cool.

I'm adding the "Easy As Pie Apple Pie" for eva also.

Grate 2 to 3 apples into an unbaked pie shell

*Melt 3/4 stick margarine or butter
*Add 3/4 to 1 cup sugar (depending on amount of apples and their tartness)
*1 egg, beaten very well
Mix *items together well
Pour over apples

Sprinkle with Cinnamon
Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 hour or until golden brown. (Does not need a top crust)

Also freezes very well.

sitemama, that sounds like a very easy Apple Pie to make! I'll have to try it.

In my area, the Blueberry Dump Cake is real popular. I have not made it in so long, I'll have to look for the recipe. I think we don't put pineapple in ours. Anyway, I love blueberries!

I know one can substitute whatever fruit in the dump cake recipes.
