KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 10-month-old girl who disappeared from her home overnight.
Police said Lisa Irwin was last seen on Monday at 10:30 p.m. asleep in her crib. Officers were called to the house in the 3600 block of North Lister Avenue at 4 a.m. by the girl's parents.
Police could be seen dusting for fingerprints at the home. Initially, officers were closely examining a window.
"A window looked like it might be a point of entry, but we're trying to put all the pieces together," police Capt. Steve Young said.
Call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477 if you know her whereabouts.

Both parents had been interviewed at the home earlier in the morning. Breit also reported that a couple of children who were in the home would be talked to by investigators, as well.

"Hopefully the child's close and safe, but right now we're utilizing all available resources," said Officer Darin Snapp, a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department.
The FBI is assisting in the investigation and authorities warned that the kidnapper may have already crossed state lines.
"It's very possible that this child could be in Kansas," said Snapp. "We're right on the state line."
As yet, police have no suspect description, no vehicle description and no eyewitnesses to the abduction.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police said they're using a variety of resources and following leads in the kidnapping of a 10-month-old girl from her home.
Police issued an Amber Alert for Lisa Irwin early Tuesday morning. The baby was last seen at 10:30 p.m. Monday asleep in her crib at her parents' home in the 3600 block of North Lister Avenue.

The bug bite I can understand, but a burn mark on Rt thigh...How in the world could a 10 month old have a burn??? Sounds suspicious to me...If it came from a cigarette, those parents shouldn't be smoking around a child let alone an infant...
I thought Amber Alerts were only issued if an identifiable vehicle was involved in the abduction...I sure hope this little innocent babe is located soon..

Hey Estee. The article says a beauty mark on her right thigh, not a burn mark.
