82-year-old Rensselaerville man arrested for sexual abuse

RENSSELAERVILLE, NY (NEWS10) - An 82-year-old Rensselaerville man was arrested for sexual abuse.

Ralph Brand solicited two females on separate occasions to engage in sexual conduct with him at his residence for a fee.

The females were drawn to his home through a housekeeping job offer.

While interviewing a 17 year old female at his residence, Brand caused her injury, when he attempted to force her into a sexual act. Brand did this in the presence of a 2 year old child. Brand also furnished alcoholic beverages to another female who was under the legal drinking age of 21 years old. Brand was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Rensselaerville Town Court on November 14, 2011 at 7pm.

I wonder how long he's been getting away with this? I checked the NY sex offender registry and his name did not come up.

I cannot imagine that he just started doing these things at the age of 82.

He is no doubt like that guy at Penn State.....been doing it for decades, leaving a sea of victims in his wake. Revolting and disgusting.
