No wonder her mother failed to tell the police and media about her husband Allan Leskinen. she divorced the guy after he was convicted BUT THEN before she served 5 yrs at the Hobby Unit for the attempted murder of another woman, she REMARRIED Mr. Leskinen by proxy! What kind of mother can remarry her child's rapist and SHE wants to blame CPS and the police? WHERE IS HER BLAME? An if this poor girl was being tortured again by yet another abuser, WHY did it take Tiffany FOUR YEARS after her release from prison, to save that poor girl! Oh Tiffany was correct in using the works "sick and twisted" for this who abused this poor girl, but WHERE was the "sick and twisted" mother when she CHOSE to remarry her child's rapist who SHE CHOSE to leave that girl alone with while she lead the wild lifestyle that CAUSED her child to be abused when she was ONLY 7 yrs old! Tiffany and Allan and anyone else mixed up in that TWISTED lifestyle is to be blamed. I did not even know this girl, but my heart aches for her and my stomach is sickened by the adults who all along put themselves BEFORE the welfare of this child! SHAME ON YOU TIFFANY AND ALLAN! Shame on any other people you two played with as well because you may all be losers but an INNOCENT child paid the ultimate price for your SICK AND TWISTED GAMES! Well, you said if there are any new developments in this poor child's case, you will report it here. All I can say based on all that I know is that if what you say is true, there will be a lot of dirty laundry exposing this girl's Mother than any of you realize. Collectively, there are many to be blamed and if they cannot be prosecuted, then they should at least be EXPOSED for the parts they all played in in this girl's death. With regards to Tiffany, Allan and all the rest (who have been reported to the police) if nothing else, let them all face the embarrassment of the ENTIRE story coming out rather than then reaping blood money because they want to blame CPS and the police when the mirror on the wall really reflects THEM as the deviants! It breaks my heart that no one stopped for even a moment to see this child needed help! It makes me even sicker that there is a MOTHER out there looking for ways to make blood
money on the death of a child she couldn't even protect BECAUSE she was serving 5
yrs in prison for trying to kill the wife of someone she was obsessed with! Guess that
guy meant more to her than the fact that a month or so later her kid was being
raped because of her actions. TIFFANY abandoned her child and the cops have all the

have no heart if I felt no feelings for this beautiful girl! But UNLIKE Tiffany, NO MAN

For teens, the world of social media can be a refuge - a place where they can confidently discuss their passions, secret desires, and, for some, suicide.

That was the case for two Houston girls who recently killed themselves after extensive Twitter and blog posts about their frustrations with life.

One tweeted a picture of a loaded revolver before she shot herself in the head last week.

In the cases of Ashley Duncan, 17, and Ashley Billasano, 18, it appears that none of their hundreds of Twitter followers sounded an alarm about their tweets. Duncan had for days added blog and Twitter posts illustrating despair before she killed herself Jan. 30 in a grassy area near a bayou in southwest Houston. Billasano killed herself by suffocation in November after tweeting 144 times over a six-hour period about instances of sexual abuse she said she suffered that failed to draw criminal charges. She ended by saying, "I'd love to hear what you have to say. But I won't be around."

On November 7, 2011, Ashley Marie Billasano stayed home from school so she could kill herself.

The 18-year-old Rosenberg high school senior told her closest friend, who drove her to school every morning, that she wasn't feeling well. Then, from 6:44 a.m. to 2:08 p.m., she issued 144 tweets, many of which alleged years of sexual abuse at the hands of her father John Billasano, when she lived with him in Round Rock and Pflugerville.

At the urging of friends, Ashley had reluctantly told a teacher about the alleged abuse in spring 2011. The teacher notified Child Protective Services. The investigation would prove inconclusive. At 1:37 p.m. the day of her death, Ashley tweeted about a call she had received from a CPS caseworker: "Weeks passed then I got the call. They said, 'Sorry, but there isn't enough evidence.' I hung up. That's when I changed. I didn't care anymore."

In addition to her tweets, Ashley left behind a four-page suicide note that her mother, Tiffany Ruiz-Leskinen, has not shared with Ashley's friends. Her closest friend read redacted excerpts at the funeral. According to friends, Tiffany shared the note with the church minister, who excised the profanity — there was apparently quite a bit. After all, God's house was no place for cuss words.

I lit a candle for Ashley. No candles were lit.

Shortly after I set the candle site up to honor Ashley's memory as this tragic story unfolded, there were over 40 candles lit. Many young folks from the Facebook page lit a candle.

Today, as time moves on . . . there were no candles lit.

Word just came down from TDCJ. Looks like Tiffany's current HUSBAND, Allan Leskinen will not make parole this time around. My advice to everyone is to keep writing letters expressing grave concern over the possibility that he could be released to a halfway house. Regardless of whether they let him out now OR wait until next year, he (like Tiffany) can only be required to "serve all" for his crimes against this child. Next year he will be free but will forever be labeled as a sex offender. In the mean time, everyone can do their part by writing letters of protest to the parole board and the TDCJ Victims Unit. It is unlikely he will see an early release date while letters of protest pour in. In the mean time, Tiffany ought to get that marriage by proxy to her rapist husband null and void or if necessary, FILE FOR DIVORCE AGAIN. You lost one child to your poor decisions, don't sacrifice the rest of your children as well. And BTW, don't send money to Tiffany as she's a convicted felon as well. Write letters of protest to the TDCJ parole board..buy paper and stamps to give a voice to this poor child who can no longer speak for herself. Don't line Tiffany's pockets with blood money.

and BTW, the GENERAL PUBLIC needs to contact the TDCJ Victims Unit as Tiffany has zero credibility. Their address is: TDCJ-Victim Services 8712 Shoal Creek BLVD. Suite 265, Austin, Texas 78757. You will need to provide Allan's name and immate number in your correspondence and while this can't stop his eventual release next year, it can put it off a little while longer. Someone above posted his TDCJ information you can use in your letters of protest. You can also request an updated picture of him (which I received) just in case he THINKS he's going to call up any old pals he use to hang out with. I'm the LAST person he wants to run into (although I understand he also has a violent streak). If he thinks he will be welcome around me or my family, the only response he's going to get is a ride downtown in the back of a police car. His professional days of working in the oil field are OVER. No one will touch him with a 10 foot pole. And I'm the LAST PERSON he wants to even THINK about confronting. Don't lose sight of the fact everyone that Tiffany had a hand in this as well. Her grief is no doubt real but she sacrificed her daughter for this man and others like him and ended up serving a 5 yr prison sentence at the Hobby Unit in Marlin, Texas as a result of it. Don't support her non-profit scam. Find a reputable organization and support it instead. The ONLY victim here is that 18 yr old girl and her brother and sister left behind. I do not pity Tiffany and would not spit on her if she were on fire for making such deals with the devil that ended with the death of an innocent child. You can be assured that I would not and did not make a donation to Tiffany or to any one collecting money supposedly for some foundation to remember Ashley.

Nationwide there are so many scams that go on when a child goes missing that the chances of me donating to those type of fundraisers or so called "Foundations" are slim to none.

I made a donation to my church in memory of Ashley. Being Catholic, I also had a Mass said in memory of Ashley Billasano which I attended a few months ago.

Regarding Allan Leskinen's parole review, I will gladly post specific info regarding protest letters on this thread. I can look up all of the necessary info and post it in a concise, organized manner on this thread. I hope to do that within the next 2 days.

I am very well informed of the who, what, when, etc. regarding protest letters being sent to TDCJ for the review by the Texas Board of Pardons & Paroles.

I, with help from others, concluded a major campaign of protesting parole for Abigail Young who went on Parole Review status in February, 2012. She is the mother of little 4-year-old Emma Thompson who, in June, 2009, was brutally raped and beaten to death by Lucas Coe, Abigail Young's boyfriend at the time. If you live in the greater Houston area and beyond, you may be familiar with the case.

I have talked with TDCJ numerous times re Young and I have found them to be very helpful. I am also on the Victim Services' List where I receive notification of any status changes for Young.

Are you signed up for that regarding Allan Leskinen? If not, please apply.

It appears you know Ashley's family and what transpired in her life. Ashley is fortunate to have you as a voice and warrior for her.

If you know Tiffany and fear for the safety of her children, I would contact CPS. They are required to investigate complaints.

Ashley Billasano captured my heart! ♥ I wish I could have known her.

It is so sad that she was sexually abused as a small child. Her then step-father, Allan Leskinen, was convicted and is still in prison for those charges.

As a teen and prior to her suicide, Ashley made allegations that her father, who lived near Austin, TX and whom Ashley lived with until her move to Fort Bend County, Tx, had sexually abused her and prostituted her out.

Per media reports, after Ashley's suicide, the Travis County District Attorney's office were still investigating those allegations.

I started this thread to bring awareness to sexual abuse, teen suicide and the fact that Ashley's class mates wanted to bring awareness to teen suicide.

There have been over 10,000 hits (views) of this thread and it is remarkable for a story that is not continually developing.
