McNair Shot Dead In Sleep By Girlfriend

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Former NFL star Steve McNair was shot dead in his sleep last week by a 20-year-old girlfriend distraught about mounting financial problems and her belief that he was seeing someone else, police said Wed.

I can't believe the girlfriend jumped to the conclusion that somebody who cheated on his wife would also cheat on his mistress. That's definitely not a good reason to kill yourself or anybody else. If somebody cheats on you, just move on. It isn't the end of the world. I wish people who were going to commit suicide would do it without taking others with them.

Ditto Justice ! I have always believed vows are taken for a reason, both parties. Don't believe in any "cheating" at all. But, like you, WHY would someone having an affair with a married person even THINK they wouldn't cheat on them too ? I feel the same as you about a suicide too, it's bad, it's wrong, it's crazy............but a suicidal person doesn't have to take out anyone else ! Really crazy there.

In my opinion, Steve McNair was no Hero. I feel sorry for his wife and children who have been publicly humiliated. I'm sure the mistress had mental problems before she became involved with Mr. McNair.

Right Bombshell ! I am SO sick of our so called "heros" living the type lives they lead.
