DEFENSE TEAM FILES 91-PAGE MOTION

Casey Anthony's defense team filed a new 91-page motion in court Thursday. The attorneys are demanding records of communication between Orange County investigators, the FBI and the University of Tennessee's Body Farm.

The Body Farm is the place that tested Casey's car for signs that a corpse had been there.

In reference to the renewed motion to compel bench notes, hasn't Judge Strickland already denied this a while back? I seem to remember the argument made by LKB and she was shocked the Judge said no.

Tracey, at this moment, I don't remember LKB arguing for the bench notes, but it is entirely possible that in her droning on and on, I simply tuned her out...... Laughing

I will keep my eyes open for any information regarding this.

Thanks Snaz. Yes, I do remember for a fact (can you all believe that one, me remembering anything for fact, Laughing) that LKB was arguing for bench notes on something. And yes, Snaz, it is possible we all tuned her out after how long she drags on and on regarding a point. Even the judge had said, ok I think I have enough on that let's move on, a few times. Very Happy (don't ya love J. Strickland?)
Anyway, i just can't remember what bench notes she was arguing for. I know the judge had sounded like this was an unusual request and told her to make a formal motion or add more information or something to that effect. I seem to recall it was him telling her to make a formal motion for it. I do hope something is said in regards to this tomorrow.

As for the 91 page motion, I just finished reading through all of it. Nw I am no lawyer and certainly a lot of it was foreign to me. However, to me, it sure seemed to be a whole lot of words about nothing. I mean understand wanting to know the who, why, what, where and when's of your evidence and the testing. however, she is asking for documentation on items NOT even used on this evidence. She also glosses over some very important evidence that I believe, she doesn't want much attention drawn to. I am going to wait and see how some of our really smart members interpret these motions and the hearing tomorrow.
It's just at first read, they are really trying VERY hard to draw attention AWAY from KC and the simple facts and wanting to make this so long, complicated, drawn out and so dog gone boring, any juror would slit their own wrists to get out of this trial or get out of serving on it. Anyone remember the OJ DNA? Good GOD, every juror was needing toothpicks to keep their eyes open.
