PUTNAM COUNTY, FL -- The one person police believe holds the key in the case of Haleigh Cummings spoke to First Coast News this afternoon.

Misty Cummings, the wife of Haleigh's father Ronald, told First Coast News, "I feel like they're trying to pinpoint me because they cannot find the right person."

Police say her story is "sketchy," and she underwent a series of tests recently to clear her name, but reportedly failed them all.

She definitely knows what happened; I'm not buying "the dream" story she told Tim Miller.
Maybe now we'll start getting some real answers.

I hope we start getting some real answers mimi. Now that the focus is on Misty, it seems like we are at the point in this case that we should have been at six months ago.

Misty said to look for a rose in the forest...

Saw it on WS in the forensic astro forum.A picture of a rose covered up in the forest.Misty supposedly said the area should be searched.

Thanks for the links Michelle. EquuSearch searched the area with the rose yesterday, but they didn't find anything.

Misty is starting to show shades of Casey babbette. I wish they could make her tell.

I don't understand why Haleigh's grandparents aren't putting pressure on Misty? Maybe they can get her to talk by not letting up on her until she does. Somebody needs to show her that they're tired of all her BS. Since Ron doesn't seem at all concerned with Misty's deceit, that should be a big clue for the police.
