Hank Jr. Reveals now, That Misty Wasnt Home

I haven't followed this case nearly as closely as I have the Anthony case, and certainly not as closely as many of you have, but I know enough to not believe Tommy's story..... it's just too convenient for him. I know I am in the minority here, but I, personally, do not believe Ron nor Misty had anything at all to do with HaLeigh's disappearance.

My real life best friend and her husband live in Florida, and he helped in the search for HaLeigh with TES, and has since become good friends with Tim Miller and has helped TM search for several other missing persons throughout the country. Ron rode on the back of her husband's horse with him when they searched. And she has recently spent some time with Misty.... they have both said Ron and Misty do not appear in person as they appear on TV......

My gut has always told me these two were not involved. I hope my gut doesn't fail me now. AJ is right, Tommy has a lot more reason to have done something with HaLeigh than Misty does. I will also add that I, personally, attribute many of Misty's problems to her age and immaturity.

She’s obviously not listening to what he’s telling her.”

One source close to Misty tells me she’s telling friends police wanted to discuss phone records related to her conflicting timeline, and urged her to go into protective custody for her own safety. Her attorney, Robert Fields, confirms that’s what Misty told him, and scoffed at the purported offer as a police ploy.

I’m told after a bitter fight with Ronald earlier this week (sources tell me he threw her and her clothes out of his grandmother’s trailer, then ran down the road to apologize and brought her back), she’s taken off for the beach with an unnamed girlfriend. Her lawyer confirms she’s out town, telling me she’s taking a few needed days off to seek a change of scenery and clear her head

I'm not ready to label anybody innocent or guilty yet. Ron's angry reaction to finding out that Haleigh was missing seemed legit, and that made me think that he had nothing to do with it. I've been kind of hard on Misty recently because of her failed lie detector tests. Also, I felt for awhile that even if Misty didn't do anything to Haleigh, she probably knew who took her or what happened to her.

This business with Tommy has really got me thinking though. I have strong doubts that he is being truthful. I think police should take a long, hard look at him and make him account for all of his time the night that Haleigh disappeared. Police should be able to use cell phone records to find out if Tommy is telling the truth about Ron calling him that night and sending him over there to check on Misty and the kids. They should also be able to use cell phone pings to figure out what times Tommy was at Ron and Misty's place that night.

There are too many unanswered questions for me to make up my mind about this. Here are a few questions I would like some answers to.

1. Did Ron really call Tommy to check up on Misty that night?
2. Were Misty and the kids really not home when Tommy came over?
3. Where were Misty and the kids if they weren't home?
4. Was Misty asleep with the kids, or did she leave them home alone after they fell asleep?
5. What times do cell phone pings place Tommy near Haleigh's house?
6. Did Misty call Ron and tell him that Haleigh was missing before he stopped at a store for beer and cigarettes? In that case or in the case that Tommy's story is true that Misty wasn't answering her cell phone and that Ron had been told that Misty and the kids weren't home, why did Ron stop at a store before rushing home to try to find out what was going on?

I'm sorry if some of these questions have well known answers, but I've heard many conflicting things about what happened that night.

Thanks y'all....I've always felt Ron was clear, and Misty just doesn't know and she has been telling the truth. She's told what she knows, and all she knows. I feel she has never wavered from her account of that evening. I believe why she fails their "tests" is because in the back of her mind she has suspicions...and she had told LE that. I believe she is the scapegoat.

It has been stated that Haleigh and Jr were very well taken care of by Misty, by both sides of the family. That Haleigh left the house every morning for school looking like a beauty queen, thanks to Misty. I believe she did her very best to care for those children.

Misty is no KC Anthony. She is not after money, fame and she is not a cold hearted killer, I just do not believe that. And, I don't believe she could lie and keep it covered.
Between Misty's brother, and her cousin, Joe Overstreet...I would think LE should have a pretty good idea as to what went down. Unknown to Misty.

I feel bad for Misty, I think she's taken the brunt of this. I have no idea what Misty was doing that night, but in my mind she spoke the truth. I still do not believe she left the trailer and left those kids alone. I know people are screaming to hang her and saying "make her talk" but she has been consistent. And I feel she has given all she knows.

Now Nancy Grace is stating on air.....Misty has skipped town!!! That is not a correct or responsible statement.

I think Misty left because she is fighting with Ron. I read somewhere that she is in phone contact with Ron, so it's not like she went into hiding without a trace. Once you are Nancy Grace's number one suspect in a crime, she will put everything you do in the worst possible light.

This case is really heating up. I think something's going to give soon and we might finally learn the truth about what happened.
