Tebow Is Restricted

GAINESVILLE, FL. -- Florida quarterback Tim Tebow went through another battery of post-concussion tests on Tuesday.

Coach Urban Meyer said Tebow still has a headache and isn't allowed to watch television or read. So there's no studying a play book or checking out tape of top-ranked Florida's next opponent, LSU on Oct. 10.

"Its going to be real hard for him," wide receiver David Nelson said. "At the same time, he has to listen to the doctors and do what they're asking him to do. It's been real tough for him, especially for the competitor that he is."

Nelson said that if Tebow can't play against LSU, the team has all the confidence in the world in backup quarterback John Brantley.

Tebow, who sustained a concussion Saturday at Kentucky, did not practice Tuesday.
